For Those Interested To Know More About Protecious...
Ken W:"My project Protecious is a place in which I will explore the boundries of most genre's that I listen to and like and admire, I will not be afraid of experimenting with genre-bending music with my touches of eccentric productions with a sometimes pop touch, although I never consider my music Pop, I do think that a great deal of it has catchy pop elements to it, which can be a wonderful thing.
I will be doing collaborations with musicians that I respect and admire as well as collaborate with up and coming talented artists that I wish to help promote and explore, anyone who knows me knows that I love music and have been producing, mixing, recording, playing, listening to music for my entire "adult" life, although I think im still very young, I have alot of learning and exploring to still do with various art, I love drawing, making computer graphics, clay sculpting characters, as well as recording, producing & mixing music, I have never been interested in producing other bands & artists music and I will tell you why - I am not one to judge what people's music should and shouldnt be, I steer my own ship in my artistic direction that I personally feel is unique and highly original and will always do so, but I do not have the heart to be cruel and talk down to any artists out there, that's how I have always been and always will be, I have a past experience in which me and an un-named person were planning on producing & recording a local band's album, and due to the experiences I had during that process, I decided producing & recording others' music was not for me. Although I will always be collaborating with musicians that I admire and feel are already some what successfull in recording & making records, I just feel that working and doing things for new musicians isnt as fun as I thought it would be - mostly due to individual ego's and problems with handling criticisms, I have known alot of musicians who have talked the talk about how good they are and what they can do but when you try to get them to do something they freeze and/or get lazy, I just dont want to waste my creative time with people who dont want or feel like going through with what they have started or planned on starting.

My favorite bands & artists are those who have invented and adapted there own personal touch and sound to there art/music, and I feel I have accomplished the same. I will never need anyone out there to tell me that my music/art is good, because I have done this for 8 years now and I know myself what works and what doesnt work, and at the end of the day the only real quality opinion of my art that matters is my own.
I am not an egomaniac nor am I a user, I enjoy helping people who I feel deserve a shot or a break or a chance to be further heard or known, opportunities come to far and few between and I am grateful to anyone who has ever given me a chance or trusted my judgement.

One thing you will not get from my art & music is the gloom & doom image, I know I have collaborated with people who are somewhat associated with the metal genre, but I am not personally into alot of metal nor will I ever represent a tatooed up pierced out gloom n doom dark image, that's not me and I will never be that, so sorry if your looking for the evil image here but you will not find that, life is to short to waste it on dark and evil nonsense, life can be a bitch, and no one knows this more than me...trust me, however I have chosen to look and present a lighter and colorful side of art & music to bring out more happy and positive responses in the brain, to much out there taps into violence and anger and depression, and as ive said before life is way to short for such bullshit, I had once walked down that path and it gave me nothing but sadness and bitter anger and just was such a waste of my time that I will never ever get back again.

There is no point in starting a band without having your own sound, because to me it's pointless to sound like everyone else that the radio plays and says is good, you will never make it in the business without having your own original sound or cheating your way to the top with money or reality shows or just plain backstabbing.
I dont aim for fame, and I never will, this sound I know is not mainstream and is a more underground unique style that is appreciated amungst very eccentric and unique people, I would rather have 500 fans for 20 years than a million fans for 2 years.

Anyone who ever wants to contact Protecious can do so by easily writing a message to this profile, I am happy to read and reply to everybody that writes and requests an add for friendship.
I look to expand Protecious by releasing several albums through various independent labels from all over the world, Protecious is universal and that's how I intend it to be because I let the music speak for itself, It represents no views no languages no culture, just represents Unique, original and fun art and music...and there is a huge lack of that these days" (Protecious myspace blog entry)

biomuse (England/Italy)
At the beginning of 1995 roman duo stefano curti and mauro ruvolo awoke a ferocious beast that would become known the world over as bio muse. After being picked up by Tony Thorpe's acclaimed Language imprint they proceeded to release their debut album "Wrong", hailed as a "startling debut of growling, fucked-up feedback dementia from the brilliant Italian low-end extremists" by i-D magazine. With further rave reviews from NME, Muzik and Mixmag, it became clear the beast was here to stay. The impeccable production skills showcased on their landmark debut also helped establish them as prolific remixers throughout the tail end of the 90's, only finding time to develop compilation tracks at the request of luminaries like Kevin Martin. In early 2000 the beast was put back to bed as stefano embarked on a new project distributing experimental cinema and video art (www.rarovideo.com) and mauro immersed himself in scoring films, studying jazz guitar and fine tuning various audio restoration projects including Andy Warhol's "Vinyl" and "The Velvet Underground and Nico". In 2003 the beast came calling again and the pair started writing new material, this time with new blood in the shape of Nina Walsh. The experimental electronica label boss of Sabrettes and guitarist/vocalist and writer with "Slab" can be found singing on the new "Two Lone Swordsmen" album or taming the machines in her studio finishing her debut solo album. The result of this collaboration is a bass-heavy, rip snorting two track 7" that is sure to scare all but the most hardened experimentalists. It's a full on attack of the eardrums, from Occasionally in a Way's gut churning bass line to the relentless feedback screams of Tacky Piranha, this is truly a record you'll either love or hate, but those who love it will f*cking worship it! This grisly package also includes a DVD featuring the videos of the vinyl tracks, composed of footage taken from director Paolo Gioli's old films - stitched together in pure analogue fashion. There is also a bonus nasty Sporanex, a filthy slice of twisted metal, dominated by Nina's distinctive vocal and who's video contains exclusive footage shot during the 2001 G8 summit in Genoa. Gioli and Bio Muse met by coincidence and the relationship was formed when by mistake Stefano brought some of Gioli's film works in to the studio while the band were recording a track and immediately they recognised an interaction between the music and images. Although Gioli's a 60 year old who usually listens to classical music, he surprisingly liked what Bio Muse were doing and commissioned them to write the soundtrack for a new 20 minute short movie of his based on the animation of some Marilyn Monroe rare photographs. With an album scheduled for release early next year expect some more "electronic adventures of the seriously twisted kind…" "…combine the fury of Aphex with a twisted funk-rock jam. Trip-hop's answer to Led Zep" (NME) "Takes the concept of metal-funk to ultra-intense extremes… more demanding than a Baader-Meinhof ransom note" (MUZIK) "S
eriously twisted… hypnotic in an ugly kind of way, a bit like the way you can't tear your eyes away from a serious accident" (MIXMAG) "occasionally in a way" and "tacky piranha" video's have been made using no computer or digital filming - all 100% pure anolog productions).

control one remote *(USA)
In early 2004 this project was conceived by guitarist/bassist Joel Osborne. Combining material he had written over the past 3 years the skeletal structure of these songs sparked life. Joseph Hopkins was recruited to add sonic corrosion and atmospheres to the already distorted melodic structuring. "Project001" was complete later that year and is to date the only Control One Remote offering but 2006 may hold new visits to this dissonant plain of awareness. New material is in production for 2007 demo.

larva 108 (Italy)
]-->Honestly, I do music for myself... especially I need a soundtrack for my evenings, when I'm alone, sad and drunk a bit. I try to do the right music for that kind of night. 108 = visual art, LARVA = "music". Born in Alessandria (north west of Italy). As 108 I started to do "public art" in the end of the 90's (after years of classic graffiti and other stuff) and I put my stuff everywhere around the planet, from my town Alessandria to Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Reykiavik, Zaragoza, Barcelona, Palermo, London, Munich, New York, San Francisco, Turkey, Switzerland, New Zeland, ecc... Some 108 art exhibitions: > 2006, Genova (eves 2006) > 2006 Zaragoza (Segundo Asalto - En la frontera) > 2006 Milano - (Spazio Xpo') > 2005, Milano (Urban Edge Show) > 2005, Washington (Street art show) > 2004, Paris (Nusign 2.4)> 2003, UK (Leeds) > 2003, Modena (Icone) > 2003, Milano (Hiu)......... LARVA is noise made for myself expecially (as for the art), anyway check the infos elsewhere...

NEW FREE DOWNLOAD EP "EARPIECE"(HOMAGE TO PENTLICZEK) released with "Abdicate Cell" (Norway)

"Pentliczek's music is an ongoing , genre-defying travelogue not wanting in structure nor execution.Lezet's "Earpiece" attempts to unriddle and re-interpret the original Pentliczek timbre while paying homage to this music royalty.Knuckling down to working on this collection was an enlightening as well as a rewarding experience.
Kudos to Dominik Gawara for giving Lezet a permission to embark on such a wonderful voyage.

Prava mala odiseja elektronskog zvuka opremljena jedrima u boji sa atlasom i indexom svih ostrva i koordinatama kako doci do svakog talasa. Karte za ovo putovanje su dostupne u Sloveniji na kros _kor@yahoo.com a u Srbiji na PMK distrou pumajkar_zin@yahoo.com. Nenad"

_VRWM003] digitalbiotope showcase
An old friend of mine reminded me lately of some unfinished project we had, and quickly after that, the idea of introducing his netlabel to veerwaves visitors struck me; digitalbiotope is an independent uncompromising platform dedicated to promotion of improvised and experimental music. The philosophy of it's founders welcomes and encourages the collaboration between artists, and the most extremely different styles are released. Mainly, as stated on the start page focus is given to improvisation, electro-acoustic, experimental electronica, contemporary audio and the inclusion of some videos makes the whole thing even more interesting. The mixtape i made for digitalbiotope is a showcase demonstrating extreme sound design techniques with musical content which builds and keeps the listener under some kind of electrical intensity. I don't like describing music (and generally art) with words, i'm not so good with them. Just grab the mix and explore new territory :) total time : 1:23' 115M ^ netlabelhost Playlist:
