Y Lezet hace eso: toca la guitarra, genera sonidos donde no debiera haberlos, mezcla técnicas imposibles de tocar un instrumento... Y damos gracias a ello! Seguir hablando sería (si ya no lo hice) como contar el final de una película... Disfruten (o no) de este disco de Lezet llamado Tar 2.

In Argentina we say: "tocar la guitarra" whose translation in English would be "play the guitar". But the literal translation of "tocar" is "touch". And Lezet does that: he touch the guitar, generates sounds where there shouldn't be any, mixes techniques that are impossible to play an instrument... And we are grateful for that! The music on the album Glyptic Procession Scenes is a mixture of post-krautrock, psychedelic, jazz, ritual rhythms, science fiction and electronics. This collaboration brings together three solo artists with very different musical, cultural, and personal experiences. Each artist adds a layer of their own expression on a foundation laid by the other collaborators to create a new work that is more that the sum of its parts.

On guitar and synthesizers Igor Jovanovic (LEZET), Conor Goetz (Sweat Of Limbs) with acoustic string and percussion loops and Hans Castrup with keyboards, tapes and electronics.

My late father was a beautiful soul. He also happened to be a huge Star Trek fan and we would bond over premieres and Re-runs of Star Trek The Next Generation.
I often had asthma attacks and would stay up late coughing away into the night and we would explore galaxies together.He'd patiently provide answers and give opinions on equality, parenthood, love, honour, courage, hardships, imagination,individuality, freedom, society and space that strangely coincided with those expressed by the characters.
35 years later Star Trek: Picard got me thinking about transcience, the loss of my father, Yugoslavia and the world we once knew.


This album is dedicated to the loving memory of my father Slobodan (1954-2007).

The album references Mai's nightmarish experiences that luckily ended well.

Mai Jonsen has been an IRL friend of mine for over 20 years now. She passionates about Nature, motherhood and lo-fi music.
She toyed and revisited for years the simple ascending and descending melody lines present on this album, and I thought it was time they'd found a home inside longer passages and tracks.
Mai Jonsen does not think of herself as a musician and doesn't have an artist page. Her previous attempts at collaborating with people she knew or admired failed.

This compilation of sound artists from all over the globe challenged participants to create tracks without the use of electricity. Vocals, the shuffling of items in a junk drawer, a kazoo, the sounds of feet traversing various terrain, nature sounds, anything created without electricity was fair game. Think primitive noise.

The use of a powered recording device was of course permitted, but all sounds captured were produced without electricity.

Unbeknownst to me, my significant other has kept a small audio archive- a snapshot of snorting sounds I've produced over the years.
With the main intention of making a drone-based piece I organised those recordings into larger units, letting them bleed some serious reverb.
