Over the last few years I've been collecting the first few seconds of all of my unedited recordings.Those brief moments when, after switching on the audio recorder it struggles, wavers, falls , or is ragged across a surface before it is appropriately positioned for the recording of a performance.
The album aims at organising these chance/unintentional and non-performative recordings into constructed tracks.
