V.A.-"Arboreal Telegraph" is out on CAMEMBERT ELECTRIQUE (France)!

Arboreal Telegraph is an experimental compilation curated by the label Camembert Électrique, inspired by the drumming of woodpeckers and by the idea that the forest is, above all, a rhythmic communication system.
In the apparent silence of the woods, a bird strikes a tree trunk. A rapid sequence of impacts, a pause, then the pattern resumes. The great spotted woodpecker - closely related to the green woodpecker - turns the tree into a percussion instrument capable of producing up to twenty strikes per second. This simple gesture opens an unexpected reading of the living world: the forest as a space of transmission, code, and resonance.
Before machines, before networks, before electronic circuits, there were already strikes, repetitions, and messages inscribed in wood.
Arboreal Telegraph starts from this elemental point: wood striking wood. From there, the invited artists unfold their own interpretations - electronic drifts, imagined ecologies, sonic translations of the living, unstable rhythmic architectures.
