Øüð - "Radiologue"is out on HARSH REALITY MUSIC (USA)!!!!
Øüð is Igor Jovanovic's (Lezet, Koi Karp, Pluto's Head, Temple Minds, Imperial Needles...) plunderphonics project.
Sliding through mid-frequency on my old Sharp radio cassette player has always been fun and I thought it was time I made an album of music built around a radioscape "performance".
Emissions from Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, Bulgaria etc all beats and music: Igor Jovanovic

Lezet - "Father & Planets" is out on HARSH REALITY MUSIC (USA)!
My late father was a beautiful soul. He also happened to be a huge Star Trek fan and we would bond over premieres and Re-runs of Star Trek The Next Generation.
I often had asthma attacks and would stay up late coughing away into the night and we would explore galaxies together. He'd patiently provide answers and give opinions on equality, parenthood, love, honour, courage, hardships, imagination, individuality, freedom, society and space that strangely coincided with those expressed by the characters.
35 years later Star Trek: Picard got me thinking about transcience, the loss of my father, Yugoslavia and the world we once knew.
This album is dedicated to the loving memory of my father Slobodan (1954-2007).

Mai Jonsen & Lezet -"The Heat" is out on MURMURE INTEMPOREL (France)!!!!
The second collaboration album picks up where the previous one has left off , moving the duo from the deep to the scorching sunlight.
The album references Mai's nightmarish experiences that luckily ended well.
Mai: acoustic guitar;
Igor: electronics, effects, voices, additional acoustic guitar.
Mai Jonsen has been an IRL friend of mine for over 20 years now. She passionates about Nature, motherhood and lo-fi music.
She toyed and revisited for years the simple ascending and descending melody lines present on this album, and I thought it was time they'd found a home inside longer passages and tracks.
Mai Jonsen does not think of herself as a musician and doesn't have an artist page. Her previous attempts at collaborating with people she knew or admired failed.

V.A.- "Dost Thy Instrument Hold Currents? An Electronic Cottage Compilation of Luddite Techniques" is out on FOREVER ESCAPING BOREDOM (USA) !!!
Dost Thy Instrument Hold Currents? An Electronic Cottage Compilation of Luddite Techniques
This compilation of sound artists from all over the globe challenged participants to create tracks without the use of electricity. Vocals, the shuffling of items in a junk drawer, a kazoo, the sounds of feet traversing various terrain, nature sounds, anything created without electricity was fair game. Think primitive noise.
The use of a powered recording device was of course permitted, but all sounds captured were produced without electricity.

Lezet - "Hasteville" is out on THE CHURCH OF NOISY GOAT (Brazil)!!!!
a long-overdue album of 250+bpm tracks
"Listen to the long-awaited album Hasteville, by the prolific and chameleonic sound artist and music producer, Lezet. Tracks with an exciting vibration of 250 bpm or even more, which sound like musique concrète from the beginnings of this genre in a completely contemporary aesthetic language, and invade our ears and at the same time massage our eardrums. I confess that I was stunned by the amount of timbres in dissonant colors in this playlist. Lezet's genius and versatility is unrivaled in the scene. He can play whatever style he wants and those who follow him know that. The dynamics of this album reminded me of something nostalgic like Gabba, which I love listening to. If you like fast-paced beats at the limit of the BPM, I suggest you listen to this album. Lezet knows very well how to mix a lot of cool old and modern music references and deliver amazing albums like Hasteville. Happy is he who can witness all that is happening." (Bode)
